Few things are as memorable as a pipe band performance. Pipes can liven up any celebration, or bring tears and dignity to a solemn ceremony. They're also known to eradicate crawling insects, small rodents, make dogs bark, babies cry, and cause people you don't like in your neighborhood to move out under the cover of darkness.
